Am I allowed to vote?

If you are aged 18 or over and are a Citizen of the UK, an Irish citizen, or a Citizen of a Commonwealth Country you have the right to vote in all public elections. There are a few exceptions to this, including convicted prisoners.
Citizens of EU states whom are resident in the UK can also vote in all types of public elections, except general elections.
In order to be able to vote your name must be on the electoral register
You can register to vote from the age of 16 , but you must be aged 18 years old or over to actually vote.

Why let these three have your say? That's what happens when you don't vote.
Voter turnout in Haringey is traditionally very low – just 35% in the last local elections.
